(Prerequisite Required – Medical Terminology)
This course provides the codes for service and procedures used on insurance form using the most recent Current Procedural Terminology (CPT ) from the American Medical Association. CPT coding is used to describe services provided by all health care providers. Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) coding covers the medical codes for services, supplies and equipment not covered in CPT coding. Fee includes text and two reference books.
